I don’t allow myself to have a ton of pets. I deep clean on the weekends but my house is small so it take like 1.5 hours tops. So I’m im making lunch apart of that is always to clean up the tools, wipe down the countertop, put away the dishes(I don’t have a dish washer) and spot clean the floor (so pets don’t try to sneak food) It feels like a lot bust after you get used to it it goes by quickly, I also try to make simple meals that don’t require a ton of cookware and ingredients to clean up. I was just raised to clean as I go and “put things away, not down “ People always say my home is to clean and I’m always couriers if it’s a compliment or side-eye. Oh, and get a simple but good quality broom to easily sweep the floors from time to time Clean the kitchen after cooking, have a cleaning cloth available at all times in the kitchen for all spills, and such. If you wipe down the sink and stove top with all-purpose cleaner every day and mop/sweep the floors daily there isn't much dirt piling up.Īnd, pretty obvious, but make it a habit to clean after yourself. This basically covers most of the household chores and the rest that's left for cleaning day isn't all that much. Most of the time we don't even need the 15mins. So really nothing big and it just safes a ton of time during the day plus it's nice to get up in the morning and have clean stuff. Normally it's loading the dishwasher and programming it to be finished in the morning, collecting the clutter from the day, sweeping the floors to get rid of the dirt our dog tracks in during the day (it's like 5mins in our small apartment), hanging up the laundry, wiping the sink and cleaning the toilet. No matter what or if we finish that in time. My boyfriend and I have the habit to both do 15min of something before we go to bed.
